Hey Kiddies, I’M BACK!

(finally. It’s only been 7 months, 14 days and God knows how many hours. But who’s counting, right? {smile} )

Like the song says, “It’s been a long time coming, but I know… a change is gonna come.”

It’s certainly been a “long, strange trip” around here lately, but, just in time for Thanksgiving, the kitchen is back in operation and we’re serving up some RIBS! I do hope you’re hungry {smile}.

Today’s mix is the genesis of an idea that came to me shortly after I first heard Eric Benet’s new song “Sometimes I Cry” over the summer. There are a lot of love songs out there (hell, most songs in one way or another are about love when it comes right down to it): good love, bad love, gotta-have-it-love, you-hurt-me-so-bad-I wanna-cry love. But most of these, especially that last type, are usually from a woman’s point of view. After doing some research I’ve found that only a small percentage of “crying” songs are from a man’s point of view. And we know why that is, right?

Because. Men. Don’t. Cry.

Well, the fact of the matter is… that’s not anywhere near the truth. Men do have feelings. And we do cry. And this mix will let you know just that.
