Day #4 of the RIBS: 5-Mixes-in-5-Days Funk-A-Thon!

Sorry I ‘m a little late getting this mix up and posted, but I just HAD to get a couple of hours sleep after working the 3rd shift gig last night. Anyway, I hope everybody is having a wonderful Memorial Day weekend so far. I don’t know about you but the weather in my neck of the woods is absolutely gorgeous! And the forecast is that it will stay this way right through till Monday. THIS is just the kind of weekend I have needed for a looooong time.

OK, on to the music! Mix #4 is the Ohio Players again, but this time (just like we did with Mandrill) we feature their mellow, mid-tempo and slow cuts. As great as this group is when they’re getting funky, they can break it down, slow it down and make you grab your honey, turn the lights down low and lock the kids outside in the yard with the best of them! {smile}

So… when the food is put away, the guests are all gone and it’s “quiet time” fire *these* RIBS up and cool out to the sweet side of the Ohio Players. It’s a finger licking good mix (if I do say so myself!) Oh… and don’t forget to unlock the door and let the kids back in the house when you’re finished. OK?
