RIBS TPTD: I Want To Know Your Name…

OK, I’ll be honest… life online is a little bit of a struggle for me lately. I really don’t know what it is, can’t really put my finger on it but things are definitely out of sorts on this end. Maybe it’s April (never really liked this month for some reason) maybe it’s not. All I know is… is that it feels like I’m walking through heavy mud lately. Trying to get somewhere quickly and yet not really going anywhere… fast. {sigh} I think I need a break…
I actually started to take this month off, not post any new mixes and try to regroup, but just like a moth to a flame the attraction just won’t let me go. Right now, just like a world class athlete, I’ll be “playing through the pain” for the rest of this month it seems. Hopefully this phase will pass just as quickly as its onset. Who knows. In the meantime, onward we forge….
Today’s mix is something that was started several months ago when I got to thinking about all of the different songs that have a woman’s name in the title. The restriction I placed on it was that the titles could be only 1 or 2 words long. Then a few weeks ago over on Soul Commune the question came up again in this post on Moon’s blog. The resulting discussion was a lot of fun and it was a great opportunity for me to revisit the mix I had started months ago. I picked up some songs that I otherwise probably would have not even thought of. Of course, when trying to think of what to call the mix I thought The Intruders would be the perfect way to start it all off.

Wow, it’s been a couple of weeks since we’ve posted a new mix here. Sorry it’s been so quiet around here and on NetInfoWeb.com lately. Been going through a few things and life is slightly in disarray right now. Nothing earth-shattering, life-threatening or anything like that, but… well let’s just say there are issues to deal with. I’m sure you know what I mean and where I’m coming from.
