RIBS JSOB: Miles, Wes and B.B.
Welcome to the debut mix of the latest feature here at Rhythms In Black Satin. We’re calling this one RIBS JSOB… Jazz with a Side Order of Blues. Every other week on Tuesdays RIBS JSOB will explore a combination of some of our favorite Jazz and Blues artists.
The format will be similar to our regular, weekly Triple Play Thurs-Day mix (which of course we will continue to bring you each and every Thursday) as we select three artists from the world of Jazz and Blues and cook up a smooth mix of sound for your listening pleasure. Sometimes we’ll do 2 Jazz and 1 Blues artist, at other times we may change it around and do 1 Jazz and 2 Blues artists. Who knows as things develop the format may change into something completely different. But you can bet it will always be enjoyable in a “grown & sexy” kind of way! {smile}
So… as we set up our first Jazz w/Side Order of Blues buffet table we break out three giants of any of music (regardless of genre), the master of the Jazz trumpet, the master of the Jazz guitar and his royal majesty, the king of the Blues. This week we present to you the initial JSOB mix with:
RIBS JSOB: Miles, Wes and B.B.

Hadn’t heard of Wes. There you go edumucating me again!
I have a couple of Miles albums but only one of them is on this list so I’m excited to hear music from other albums.
And um…where is the mix with the women’s first names?! *side-eye*
